About Amy
Amy Nina Baum lives, eats, and breathes children’s books.
Her education at Minneapolis College of Art and Design began a journey into art, illustration, and its commercial applications. Soon she would be applying this knowledge to the book world.
Her professional tour took her to such places as B. Dalton and the notable St. Paul, MN Red Balloon Bookshop in St. Paul, MN.
At Mackin Educational Resources she was called on to explore a variety of marketing approaches for books and authors to raise the profile of the company.
In 2025, Amy started her own independent consulting service. She harnesses all her knowledge, skills, and connections to help a wide variety of clients across the US.
When not consulting, Amy enjoys exploring children’s book collectibles, spending time with her dog Cubby, and looking for deals and savings in unexpected places.
